On 10-11th of September 2018 an international meeting of experts from the COMVET Project was held in Limassol.
The meeting was devoted above all to a detailed examination of the needs of veterinary doctors and the needs of animal owners in the context of interpersonal communication.
The meeting was organized on September 10-11, 2018. by Charakis Research & Consulting in Limassol. Experts and educators in the field of training and education from: KIKO Educational Solutions, Synolic and Charakis Research & Consulting took part in the event. An intensive meeting was devoted to quantitative and qualitative research of educational needs of veterinarians as well as the needs of animal owners in the context of communication with a veterinary surgeon.
We can not yet disclose data from the collected surveys, but we can reveal that you can already observe, at this stage, some visible trends in the needs and expectations of both doctors and pet owners.
And these needs as well as problems are not as obvious as it would seem at first glance when we think about the issue of communication between the veterinarian and the client.
Therefore, if you have not completed yet, the questionnaire/ survey for the veterinary doctor or animal owner – do it now! Say, write what’s bothering you, what you need, what you’re happy with. Your contribution is important and influences the development of the educational program!
