On 26-28 of February 2018 in Warsaw the COMVET Transnational Project Meeting has been organised.
The hosting organisation was KIKO Educational Solutions from Poland. The team of international experts was working on the findings of the educational systems in the subject of interpersonal communication with the client for veterinary doctors in the selected European Union countries.
The experts presented and discussed statistical data, structure of veterinary practices, educational systems across the Europe.
There are more than 214,000 people employed in the veterinary practises/services in Europe.
The number of enterprises in the Veterinary Service is more than 70,000, in accordance to EUROSTAT (see the table below, source: EUROSTAT).

In accordance to the EUROSTAT for year 2012, the estimated service size in euros is more than €14,200,000,000 with an value added estimation of €7,400,000,000!
In the countries taking part in the project, the majority of veterinary services are micro-enterprises which is in line with the trend of veterinary services structure in Europe.
